- turn one
- have a growth spurt and suddenly look a lot less like a baby and a lot more like a child
- drop down to one nap
- drop down to two bottles
- learn to walk
All in exactly ONE WEEK. It's like someone had a quiet word in my son's ear and said "right, you're one now son, time to think about moving from baby to toddler." and he did. In only a week.
It's exhausting! No gradual process over a couple of months for me. It's like Dylan v0.5 moves out and Dylan v1.0 moves in! He was the same at the 6/7 month mark.
So what has the sudden onset of toddlerhood brought, besides the walking etc listed above? The best is humour. Someone has flicked the clown switch in my son and he's become very, very (and deliberately) funny. He makes me laugh everyday.
Anyway, better attend to my little mischief maker...
